UK indie-electronic duo Frett are back with a follow up to their frustration-inspired track “Tyro” (covered here). Staying true to their minimalist approach to songwriting, the lads have shared “Drop of Starch”. The latest cut is fairly simple in its construction; a sturdy beat holds steady for the tracks duration, setting out a clear path for the multiple layered cyclical guitar lines that follow. Once again, Frett are able to create a highly emotive soundscape, merely by practicing the art of restraint.
