Eliott is a classic songwriter. Late last year, the Melbourne-based artist introduced herself to the world with, “Figure It Out”, an honest, slow-burning cut about new beginnings and growing up. With her dulcet vocal at the ready, Eliott has the unique ability to make every lyric seem tangible and on her new single “Over and Over”, she does just that.
Produced by the superbly talented Jack Grace and LUCIANBLOMKAMP, “Over and Over” is yet another delicate number, which sees Eliott take a dear diary approach to her songwriting. Resting gently on gorgeous keys, metallic percussive movements and stripped-back beats, Eliott’s voice is elevated to bathe in the glistening sunlight of an unshakeable relationship.
Eliott says of the release: “It’s a love song. Not necessarily a romantic love, but a relationship between two people that no matter how much time they spend apart, days, months, years, they’ve always got your back – a kind of love you very rarely find.”
