Both triple j Unearthed gems, rap trio EAST AV3 and 17-year-old singer-songwriter George Alice have linked up for a shimmering track that’ll have you primed for the dancefloor. Built on a bouncy beat that would make KAYTRANADA proud, “Do It All Again” sees EAST Av3 trade bars over lithe, tinny percussion and a melody that’ll bury itself in your head from the first listen.
Speaking about the track, EAST AV3 say, “We made the track on one of our Sydney trips during covid and the underlying festival theme came from our withdrawals from the whole live aspect of being an artist. Working with Georgia was such a special experience, especially being able to put two Adelaide names together, which seems to be quite a rare thing.”
George Alice shares the same sentiment, adding, “I was so stoked when the EAST AV3 boys hit me up to be a part of this track. It’s such a fun song and was just a total vibe being in the studio together! So many collaborations and sessions can’t happen this way anymore so considering we are all from Adelaide it was meant to be.”
Best bit is that you won’t have to wait long to hear this single IRL, with the EAST Av3 boys hitting the road on tour later this month. Here’s where you can catch ’em live:
