As the crowd shuffled into the venue at doors on Friday evening, headliner Didirri sat perched on a stool on stage with his guitar in hand, welcoming the early birds with a sneaky solo rendition of an unreleased track – a lovely surprise for all that set the tone for a very wholesome evening across the board.
Kat Edwards and Ro showcased their effervescent songwriting chops with stellar support slots before sad boy Didirri made his way back on to the stage (with his band in tow this time) for one of his biggest shows to date at a sold out 170 Russell.
