The small population of South Australian town Lucindale swelled from 500 to more than 15,000 as the triple j crew cruised onto the Limestone Coast for the annual One Night Stand concert on Saturday evening.
Every year, triple j picks a regional Australian town to set up shop in, and after years of campaigning, little old Lucindale was called on to host the show. Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, Ocean Alley and G Flip tore up the regional Yakka Park, along with triple j unearthed punk rockers Chelsea Manor (playing their first-ever show) from Mount Gambier. But they weren’t the only Aus music legends to take the stage – special guests included Kram (from Spiderbait), Illy, Ecca Vandal, A.B. Original, Montaigne, Didirri and more.
